This position will be responsible for the maintenance of locks, keys and security systems and ensuring that all security devices are in adequate working condition.

Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience: Two (2) or more years of related work experience
Proposed Salary: $18.12 - $22.21 per hour This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.

ABILITIES: Consistently exhibit engaging customer service Ability to support various constituencies served by the University Proven proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Google, and/or applications as required for specific position Ability to read and understand construction plans and work order instructions
KNOWLEDGE: Adhere to University policies and procedures to meet Institutional goals and support University's mission for student success Extensive knowledge of locks including: design construction installation maintenance operation repair Knowledge of rebuilding all types of locks, locking devices, panic door devices and door checks
SKILLS: Effective communication (verbal and written), organizational and human relations skills Experience with operation of locksmith tools, key code systems and door hardware specifications Skill in operating key cutting machines, drill presses, milling machines, and other related equipment and hand tools Attentive to detail
