About the Position:
\nOur client, a growing plaintiff-side employment law firm, is seeking an employment litigation attorney to join its practice in a primarily remote capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys independently managing cases and is interested in the financial upside and autonomy of a plaintiff-side practice.
\n \nThe firm has a strong and consistent pipeline of potential client matters, allowing attorneys to focus on evaluating cases, managing litigation, and developing a successful practice. \n \nResponsibilities:
\n· Review and evaluate potential employment matters and identify viable cases
\n· Manage employment matters independently from intake through resolution
\n· Draft charges, demand letters, motions, pleadings, and other litigation documents
\n· Conduct discovery, depositions, and factual investigations
\n· Develop case strategy and manage litigation matters
\n· Negotiate settlements and resolve matters through appropriate dispute resolution processes
\n· Handle trials when appropriate, with additional team support available for significant matters
\n· Potentially develop business and originate additional plaintiff-side matters over time
\n \nRequired Qualifications:
\n· 4-20+ years of labor and employment litigation experience
\n· Plaintiff-side employment experience preferred, though experienced defense-side labor and employment attorneys interested in transitioning to the plaintiff side will be considered
\n· Illinois bar admission required; Missouri admission or willingness to waive into Missouri is a plus

\n \nCompensation:
\nThe estimated base salary for this position is $120,000 base, plus strong bonus potential.
