– Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care within a primary care outpatient clinic setting.
– Perform administrative duties, including patient check-in, scheduling, and documentation, with a focus on strong organizational skills.
– Support patient assessments, vital sign collection, and documentation in electronic health records, preferably EPIC.
– Coordinate effectively with outside facilities and physicians to ensure seamless communication regarding patient treatment plans.
– Maintain a professional, compassionate demeanor when interacting with patients, ensuring a positive experience.
– Valid Washington Medical Assistant-Certified license required; must hold current licensure.
– Proven experience in administrative tasks within a clinical environment.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
– Familiarity with outpatient clinical workflows and medical charting, with EPIC experience preferred.
– Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain strong attention to accuracy in documentation.
– New graduates are accepted, provided they obtain their MA-C licensure prior to start.
– Must have all scheduling restrictions resolved before beginning employment.
– This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position, Monday through Friday, with no weekend or call responsibilities.
– Candidates must be local within a 50-mile radius of the clinic to be considered.
– Ability to work consistently on schedule and demonstrate punctuality.
– Willingness to commit to working at least 3 of the 5 major holidays is preferred.
– Flexibility to work at a fast-paced outpatient healthcare setting and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
