Recruiting for an unpublished litigation associate role with an excellent boutique in DC area and Maryland. Offices in Bethesda and in Baltimore County. Hire can be in-office, hybrid or fully remote. \n \nCURRENT NEED:
\nAn associate with 2-10 years of litigation experience from a law firm or government agency.
\n \n1) Commercial litigation experience from a firm or the government (although they would consider a strong candidate coming out of a prestigious clerkship who is a strong writer)
\n2) Very strong writing skills.
\n3) Someone who is looking for a long-term opportunity. Partnership is available down the road and this hire need not generate clients.
\n \nPRACTICE:
\nThe cases are complex high stakes state and federal court cases. Litigation in all states. Strong flow of commercial litigation work and a loyal client base. Partnership path available with no client origination.
\n \nHANDS -ON WORK:
\nAlthough hands-on skills are not required, they are a plus. Hire will be able to take on depositions, oral arguments, court conferences, arbitrations, etc.
\n \nBASE COMP:
\n$160k-210k plus. Excellent benefits.
\n \nBONUSES:
\n10k automatic if hit 1800 hours. Merit bonuses also given based on
\nperformance. Range is usually 10-40k but could be more. Everyone gets something at year end.
